Squirrely Squirrels

I actually wrote yesterdays blog post about 48 hours ago, and the forecast has done nothing but continue to look really sweet. The above map is the threat of Tornadoes for this Saturday evening. There will be a very strong/warm southerly flow ahead of that line, right into southern Ontario!

Friday

Sunny. Low plus 4. High 16. Wind South 20kmhSunny

Saturday

Showers. Low 9. High 15.. Wind South 20kmhShowers

Sunday

Cloudy with 60 percent chance of showers. Low 12. High 21.Wind south 35kmhChance of showers

Monday

Cloudy with 60 percent chance of showers. Low 13. High 19.Wind NE30kmh

! As of right now, it's looking like Sunday may be the day! But let's all just go
out and look the other days too --- just in case.......

I threw out some predictions of my own last time...

Piping Plover
Swainson's Hawk
Eared Grebe
Kentucky Warbler
Black-necked Stilt
Laughing Gull
Eurasian Wigeon
Little Blue Heron
American White Pelican
Lark Sparrow

Anyone have and predictions of their own? Anyone think this system will be a dud?

Some extra random stuff: Squirrely Squirrels:

"Cinnamon Squirrel" from Wolfe Island a few weeks (months?) ago

White-tail tipped Squirrel that hangs out in my parents backyard...

=====================

A bit delayed, but wanted to say thanks to everyone who follows along on the blog. March was the highest number of views (by month) since I started this format in late Sept 2010!
The only other random stuff I can come up with right now:

Cackling Goose from Eastern Ontario back on Mar 19... Added to the Cackling Goose gallery that i keep:

On a totally un-related note, I noticed the Tornado map updated to a different forecast time...
